Which Hair Styling Product is Right for You

Figuring out which hair product to use when styling your hair can be tricky. There are a lot of products out there that can help style your hair to your liking, so you can easily be confused with which product to use.

With the Zeus Sea Salt Spray being the latest addition to our god-tier hair products, we figured this was the right time to explain what each of our stylers do, when they should be used and how to use them.

Zeus Sea Salt Spray

Let’s start off with the newest styler from the bunch. The Zeus Sea Salt Spray is one of our go-to hair texturizers.

Regardless of your hair type, this spray will add texture and body to your hair. If you’re looking for that classic “I just came from the beach” look, then look no further.

How it works is that there’s natural sea salt and Epsom salt in the solution which clings onto the hair strands and absorbs excess oils. That makes your hair feel lighter and makes the hair strands curl, giving you that classic beach-vibe look.

Though the sea salt absorbs oil, it also absorbs moisture from your hair, which can make your hair brittle if left unaddressed. But don’t worry because we formulated our spray with moisturizers — hydrolyzed proteins, aloe vera and green tea extract — to keep your hair hydrated.

Spritz the sea salt spray into damp or dry hair and work the solution with your hands. Style your hair however you like and let the spray dry to get those maritime looks.

If you want to take your styling further, use the sea salt spray with our cream pomade. Using both products together will add more body and hold to your hair, giving you better control of how your hair looks. The pomade will also help tame any flyaway hairs you may have.

Zeus Cream Pomade

Next up is the Zeus Cream Pomade, our tried-and-true texturizer that provides daylong pliability for a classic bedhead look. Consider this pomade to be a step up from our Zeus Sea Salt Spray.

Our cream pomade has a matte finish and it is water-soluble, which means that it will easily rinse out with water at the end of the day.

It’s a great product for those with short- to medium-length hair that want to create body and lift to their hair. And if you have longer hair, it’s great for when you want to tame some fly-away hairs.

Work in a small amount — about a nickel-sized dollop — into your hair and style it to your liking. If you need to make any adjustments or touch ups during the day, just dampen a comb or your hands and restyle your hair.

Zeus Firm Hold Pomade

Just as the name suggests, the Zeus Firm Hold Pomade is the beefier brother to our original pomade. It’s for when you need more hold than what our OG product can provide.

It’s a great option for when you’re styling your hair in a tall quiff, pompadour or a slick back. Because of its increased hold, you can elevate your hairstyle to new heights, literally. It’s best suited for those with thicker hair.

This pomade also contains aloe vera, jojoba oil, so you can rest assured that your hair is being nourished while you look great.

Like before, the amount of firm pomade you use to totally dependent on the look you’re going for. Experiment and see what works best for you.

Zeus Clay Pomade

Last but not least, we have the Zeus Clay Pomade, our firmest-holding hair product we’ve made to date. This is the go-to hair styler for when you want lots of hold but don’t want the shiny finish of our original and firm hold pomades.

Packed with jojoba oil, beeswax and castor oil, this thick pomade will keep your hair healthy as you go about your day.

This extra-firm pomade is great for all hair types, providing volume and body for those with short or thin hair. It also delivers god-tier hold to the thickest hair.

A little goes a long way as adding too much of this pomade might weight your hair down, making it look flat. Use a comb to evenly distribute the clay for that structured, suave look, or use your hands to style your hair for that effortless, bedhead look.
