You could be applying too much. While we recommend starting with 2-4 drops for Natural Beard Oil and 1-2 pumps for Refined Beard Oil, every beard is different. Zeus recommends at least once a day. Beard Oil works best when applied to a damp, fresh-out-the-shower beard. This helps the oil absorb more thoroughly to both skin and hair. It does not matter if you apply day or night, but for our night shower bearded gods, Zeus wants to remind to give beard oil some time to soak in before laying that handsome head on a pillow. Too soon and Beard Oil will transfer before getting to work.

Zeus Natural Beard Oil is the perfect middle ground for those in need of moisturizing skin and softening hair. Its formula is supported by Grape Seed Oil, Argan and Safflower and carries a thinner viscosity.

Zeus Refined Beard Oil caters to those with thicker, textured beards or more coarse hair. It is formulated with Almond Oil and Avocado to deliver supreme moisture and quick absorption.

Both oils work well when layered with Beard Balm or Beard Butter.

It all comes down to formula! Zeus' Natural Beard Oil, Tea Tree features the same blend as our other Natural Beard Oils, except that it features 2% Tea Tree Oil. This oil has no added fragrance. Start with this oil if blemishes are infrequent or you suspect your skin is sensitive to fragrance additives.

Zeus' Clarifying Beard Oil is a specialized blend that differs from our Natural Beard Oils. It is formulated with Blue Tansy, Tea Tree, Cumin Seed Oil and Temanu Not Oil to help soothe, treat, and restore skin. Start with Beard Shampoo & Conditioner. Both work together to remove build-up, balance and cleanse, and replenish facial hair. Contiune with Beard Oil. Be sure to apply after washing your beard and while hair is still damp. Beard Balm should be layered over Beard Oil as it helps seal in moisture while applying styling power to keep wild whiskers in order. A Beard Brush should also enter the chat when applying Beard Oil. It helps with even distribution of Beard Oil and assisits with styling when used alonside Beard Balm.
